Why It’s Important To Build Backlinks To Your Website

Another very important to increase your search engine ranking is building what is called “Backlinks” to your landing page.

Now many people confuse Backlinks with regular links they will include in their articles, blogs and also within their youtube video channels but you need to realize they are totally different.

A backlink is an html code that includes your main keyword that you have built your campaign around. Now the key to a backlink is you want to insert it into an a few paragraphs or a small article that you haven’t placed anywhere else online.

In other words, when using backlinks, make sure that you are writing original content.

In the original content that you write to include your backlinks in, you also want to make sure that this original content is targeted with campaign keywords just like you would with an article.

Then in place of your main keyword, you would include the backlink.

You only want to include a backlink once in your content that you write because that is all that is needed. Do not use backlinks more than one time in your original content as it can hurt you more than it can help you.

To show you the exact method used for a backlink, we will use the keyword “Home Business” in an example listed below.

Example Of A Backlink

Below is the html code of how you would structure a backlink for your crosslinking campaign.

The HTML Code Needed For A Backlink:

a href=”http://www.YourDomain.com” Home Business

Now in the above html example, you would replace “YourDomain.com” with the domain name to your landing page that you have built your campaign around with your crosslinking techniques.

Now to place this code in original content, you would want to do the follow when writing your content. Please keep in mind that this is just an example to show you how a backlink works.

Original Content Example:

To truly succeed with a a href=”http://www.YourDomain.com” Home Business with any online program, you need to have a plan of attack with real marketing techniques that produce real results.”

As you can see in the above example, the code is actually placed right in the original content. All we have really done is replaced the word “Home Business” in one of the sentences with an active hyperlink.

Just by adding this html code, we have now created a backlink to your landing page that you have built your campaign around. The finished content would look just like it does below once you have published it on the web with your backlink inserted.

To truly succeed with a Home Business with any online program, you need to have a plan of attack with real marketing techniques that produce real results.”

How And Why Backlinks Work

Now that you know what a backlink is, it is important that you also understand how and why they work. With google’s algorithms, they will rank webpages when a search is made on a keyword according to several factors.

These factors include the content of your site, the keywords involved with your site, the number of links pointing back to your site and also the number of backlinks that are pointing back to your site.

The more backlinks you build for your marketing campaign when using crosslinking techniques, the stronger you will score with google’s algorithms. The stronger you score with google, the higher the ranking you will receive from google.

This is always why you want to include backlinks when you are using crosslinking techniques as one of your marketing methods.
