Lots of internet marketers have differing opinions about the forex trading niche. Some view it as a potential goldmine whilst others think it’s now become far too competitive because everyone seems to be promoting all the same kind of products. So should you enter this niche or not?
Well I’m an affiliate in this niche so I may be biased but I think it’s definitely worth entering this niche and grabbing a slice of this very lucrative pie for yourself. The fact is that yes there are some products, particularly the well known forex robots that have launched in the last year or so, that are extremely competitive.
For example if you were to try and build a product review page for one of these products and get it ranked highly in the search engines (using the product name), you would probably struggle to get anywhere near the first few pages of results. However that’s not necessarily the best way to approach affiliate marketing anyway.
A more profitable approach is to build a presence within the forex trading niche and then build an email list to capture the name and email address of your visitors. That way you can market these top-selling products to your entire email list and generate a serious amount of sales.
Alternatively you could build a generic product review website and review lots of different products within the forex niche. This enables you to target a wide range of different keywords giving yourself lots more opportunities to make some sales.
There are lots of ways you can promote products in this niche. You just need to be creative. If you just copy what every other affiliate is doing then you are going to struggle because most affiliates are promoting the same products.
This is why it’s a better idea to concentrate on high-end trading courses that have their own in-house affiliate programs. Not only can you potentially earn much larger commissions but you also face a lot less competition in the search engines. So you basically get the best of both worlds.
The fact is that the forex trading niche is a very lucrative niche for affiliate marketers. There are a wide range of different products and services you can promote whether it’s forex robots, trading systems, signals or brokers, for example. Some of the very best products cost several thousand dollars and pay up to 40% commission whilst even some of the forex brokers pay as much as $100 for each referral that opens an account with them.
So in my opinion this is definitely a niche that every affiliate marketer should consider entering.
