Don’t you hate it when you’re on your on social website and this is supposed to be your little world? Like when you’re in Facebook with your thousands of applications and people stop by to say hello which is fantastic. But how do you feel when someone you don’t know comes over and their first initial contact with you is a advertising banner or link. This person doesn’t even know you and they are already trying to push a product on you. They are then in essence using your wall to wall section as free advertising.
Since when is that a nice way to introduce yourself to someone in any setting? Hi, you don’t know me but buy my product or check out my website. People can see right through that. Why would anyone buy through a link like that? Do you think people like to be sold to? Do people enjoy reading ads on their personal site?
What really annoys me is when someone just calls me out of the blue because they saw my website and instead of discussing business over e-mail they go straight to my personal business line to pitch me something. Since when is it okay to call me to sell me something? Who hates telephone marketers more? It’s the wrong mindset. I am not in the mind frame wanting to be sold to and this person calls me thinking he can get a sale. I think not.
What makes it even more hilarious is that this person says made $10k in the first 6 months and averages over $100k/yr. If that is the case why in the heck are you calling me to recruit? If you’re that good and making that much money people like myself will be attracted to you. There is no need to cold call. Cold calling stinks! Cold calling is not repeatable and no MLM downline wants to hear “you have to cold call if you want to succeed in this business”.
You will be better success if you build a spider web. One that you have a influence in your field throughout the internet generating MLM Leads Daily. This is something you want to be seen and heard whenever someone is searching for something you are an expert in. People will run into your comments and profiles. They won’t regard you as someone hard pressed for work. If you are leader and successful why do you need to find people? They will find you. People are attracted to leaders and no one likes someone begging them to join something. If they are begging you then your going to have to beg someone else to get business.
Be professional if you want MLM Success. Follow etiquette rules and just reply like you have done business before. Don’t bug people. People will not be sold to. They have to want your business to be successful. Forcing a business opportunity onto someone will only make them since faster.
